Shivapuri - Nagarkoat Trekking - 4 Days

Overview:
This is a moderate easy trek to an area north east of Kathmandu that is somewhere off the beaten trail. This is very nice trek for people who do not have much time or who want to trek on a short and easy route. the mountain views are spectacular. the maximum height elevation is about 8500 ft. or 2562m. so this is an excellent choice for the spring trek as the area is mostly covered with a dense forest. The rhododendron including dephenies and all the spring flowers will be out. bird watching is good on this trek so make sure to bring you r binoculars with you if you have one.
Only a short 30 Kilometer drive east of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of 2175 meters (7112 feet), Nagarkot provides a grandstand panorama of the Himalayas. The snowy peaks are magnificent at the sunrise and the sunset. Often visible are the Everest(8848 meters, 29,028 ft.) Lhotse (8576 meters, 28,135 ft.), Cho-oyo (8463 meters, 27,674 ft.), and Manaslu (8163 meters, 26,693 ft.), five of the world's tallest mountains.
Nagarkot also offers good bird watching in the forest and short hikes in a peaceful hilltop resort setting. Only the wind and the sound of rustling leaves is heard at this favorite weekend getaway for those seeking Himalayan scenery and serenity at any one of several nice hotels.

Day 1. Drive Sunerijial / trek Chisopani / overnight lodge.
Day 2. Chisopani trek Nargakot / over night hill resort hotel
Day 3. Nargakot trek Dhulikhel / overnight hill resort hotel.
Day 4. Dhulikhel drive Bhakatapur (sightseeing and lunch) drive Kathmandu.
